Broken Clock is the 2nd track of Malevolence by Drunk And Armed. I was listening to a few recordings from the old shed, and mixed with material from freesounds.org and the result something surprising to me (anyway).
The shed is no more. We moved this summer and I should be finished with my new studio space by the end of winter. I have been amusing myself by pounding the keys on an upright grand piano, and playing guitars but recording is curtailed. New Drunk And Armed tunes should be available sometime in spring.
This is a song about restraint. A while back, I Googled my name to see if it was still associated with a certain technical manual for which I authored sections and managed for a time. It still is, but I also discovered the one person I share a name with was sentenced to 3-7 for beating up his neighbor. Discovering this situation made me reflect that I was glad I had shown restraint in the past during similar disputes. I had passed the test. Credits

This song is about my bus, the King County Metro Route E, formally the
358, and before that it was the 359 until a maniac shot the bus driver
and it went over the side of the Aurora bridge. It is one of the
busiest routes in the system, and it can be pretty fucked up--especially
during off-peak times. But what the hell: it comes pretty frequently,
makes lots of stops and is convenient
