Raw Power - Trust Me!

The other day, my 4-year old daughter and I were driving down the road. She said, "Daddy, I wanna hear some Rock-N-Roll!" So I played her Raw Power. She pumped her fist, and screamed, "Now, that's Rock-N-Roll!!!"

Sure is, sweetie. She knows how to make her father proud.

This album from 2000 compares very favorably with earlier material (for a change). Play it LOUD for the children.

Raw Power - BCT Tape # 5 -- 1984. Fuckin' A!

Raw Power - Wop Hour

More Raw Power - Wop Hour! More great Italian Hard Core. Also includes raw power & fuck authority which was featured on the P.E.A.C.E./WAR compilation.) It may be one of the greatest hard core songs ever sung in the English language.  (Oh, the irony...)  I also like the cowbell.  I once recorded it onto my telephone answering machine (when I wasn't looking for work).

"I don't understand why everyone doesn't like this music and its energy."

RAW POWER- You are the Victim LP (Meccano Records, Italy, 1983)

Fuck yeah! It's RAW POWER- You are the Victim LP (Meccano Records, Italy, 1983)!

Raw Power

Raw Power is among my favorite European Hard Core bands, and my second favorite Italian (English language) act after Cheetah Chrome Motherfuckers. Their energy level, including their remarkable 2000 release Trust Me, is astounding and good for fighting. They appear to be basically a DIY (which obviously appeals). If you like hardcore, you'll love Raw Power.
