Before they were MDC in San Francisco, they were the Stains in Austin, Texas. They didn't like Texas much. STAINS- John Wayne was a Nazi, b/w Born to die 7" (RRadical Records, USA, 1980) is Texas Punk Rock at its finest. One thing about Punk Rockers in Texas, at least in the 80s and early 90s, is they were not posers.

I regard Black Flag - Jealous Again EP as being among my aesthetic anthems.  Every song drips with some type of hatred and/or rage.  I appreciate You Bet We've Got Something Against You! which (I seem to recall) is directed at their former lead singer.
