Drunk And Armed - Vote for Big Stink

Vote for Big Stink is the 4th Track of Pathetic Youth. It is a hardcore song. The vocals were recorded in 2007, but the instrumental portion was recorded this last month.

I usually mock the losers in the presidential elections but the old vocals fit the instrumentals too well to pass up, and it's certainly the same theme. Maybe later?

Drunk And Armed - Pathetic Youth

Announcing the new album by Drunk And Armed.  New song will be forthcoming.  Normally I don't say much about why I do anything, but in this case I will.

The name is from a geezer band name thought up be a cousin I had a falling out with decades ago.  (We had been close as children, but his drunken bullshit had escalated to the point where I was close to badly hurting him the next time he provoked me, so I alienated him to ensure it would stay away from me permanently.  I knew why is was the way he was, so he got a pass, but I made it clear if he crossed me again, he would regret it.)  Despite that, we would run into each other occasionally because we worked in the same area.  Awkward silence from both, and weariness from him.  In early 2019, I recall thinking I was about overdue for one of these encounters.  It turns out he has moved to Portland.  I found this out in April 2019 (on the same day my kitty died), when his sister (who he hadn't spoken to in 20 years) had Portland PD come to her door and tell her he had been murdered by a Nazi* who stabbed him in the neck with a dirk.  He bled out on a Portland street, and his murderer was caught red handed (literately).  Despite our differences, he certainly didn't deserve to do like that, and I never wanted anything bad to happen to him (which is why I didn't beat him down myself).  So this album is dedicated to Paul.

* His killer had done time in prison for cutting up black people for being black, yet was able to plead away the hate crime charges.  If that had not happened, he would have never been back on the streets, and my cousin would still be alive.
